Shelly
Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at 12:00PM Shelly lived two doors down from my grandparents, and by “two doors down”, I mean about half a mile away.
I went to her birthday party once, must’ve been about age ten or so, and her mother set up these elaborate party games for us to play.
One of them involved names of historical figures written on notecards and taped to our foreheads so we couldn’t see what was written on our own card, but we could see everyone else’s. The goal was to ask the other card-wearers “yes or no” questions about what might be on our card, and we had to try to figure out whose name was on our own card.
I remember that I was Betsy Ross. I also think that I might have cheated.
